DJR - Jim Beam Racing 2007!!!

I personally think all it ok... We there is smoke there is fire!! I'd be very surprise not to see Jim Beam racing at DJR this year

Just read on another forum that the Bathurst winner from last year could be the new #17!!! I hope so, so jnr can shut a few people up with the right car under him..

'OL mate' at 10/10ths seems to think everything is a OK & to expect to see Jim Beam on the roof, sides & bonnet of 17 & 18, with First Rock & V8 Telecom on the rear quarters.

hi guys, just had a long chat to Chalks and he said to let you know that the DJR LAUNCH will be in the 1st week of Feb - details to come as to where and when - but they will be on the grid - apparantly Steve has been working out bigtime - so expect a HUUUUGE year from DJR and try and ignore the rumours:D

I don't know why I bother to even have a look at 10/10th's anymore ROB, they used to be reasonably reliable with inside info but I think there is to many ego's there these days trying to break the story first & so....so many times they get it wrong.

I think I used to enjoy my motorsport more before the Internet era. You know, you'd look forward too AA or MS News every week to find out the latest goss. Much better then the merry go round we ride on these days.

Look forward to Feb Doug!!

Founf this posted on another forum site.
DJR will be announcing their new naming sponsor at Melba's on the Gold Coast at 3pm on the 6th February.
Doug have you heard about this date and venue, is it correct?

Bugger, why would he do it down there? I was hoping to go to the launch but will give it a miss now if it's down the coast. Guess TS-50 will have to go solo and get us some pictures.

I would have thought the faithful that expressed interest in membership be given a heads up on this event or even an invite.......if its true of course.




BTW, a quick look at the Jim Beam website events calender shows they have nothing happening on the 6th Feb... so maybe, maybe not.

I will be up in QLD this weekend and will be popping into the workship but unfortunately won't be around for the launch. Will definitely try to sus things out on friday.

They're auctioning the #1 membership badge for the 'new' DJR Club.

I have a busy day monday , and going to Roger Waters gig monday night , and on Tuesday I have a meeting in town 4 in the arvo. so i'm going to miss it ,

Starting the book on the Member No1 , I reckon $3600,
