Would not surprise me if a lot of sponsorships signed this season only went for 12 months while the parties involved watched how things continue to develop with the COTF and the impact it is going to have in terms of operasting expenditure, especially in the initial investment in chassis & associated equipment

2012 is going to be a livery-fest for the Jim Beam cars with several changes throughout the year expected.
PS norton and toshiba will never appear on the Beam cars due to their corporate citizenship regarding association with alcohol...a frequent issue for djr.

I went off this years logo layout on the cars, doesn't make much of a difference as mine are just muck around liveries.....

I would imagine CCA would not be too happy with that speculation.

Snappa, it has been known for some time that Mother will continue as a series sponsor in 2012 but will not sponsor the Webbs. Mother were not meant to be there this year but they pulled a deal out of the fire at the eleventh hour.

I think it's best for all parties. If CCA has decided not to Sponsor the Webbs, they have no right to complain if Monster inks a deal.

I can confirm that basically everyone will be on a 1 year deal at djr next year...Jim Beam, Johnson, Moffat and Fiore. There are no deals beyond 2012 at this stage. Doesn't really fill me with confidence knowing that in this business it is common practice to have contracts signed for at least 2-3 years in advance to enable investments in technology and planning. They should know whether Beam will be around for COTF by mid 2012.
