I agree, i coudn't give a stuff what channel my tv is on as long as the coverage is equally as good.
The other stations would need to hire Crompton and Larkam.
I would also be concerned the coverage of the big races like Bathurst was up to the high standard we are used too, Seven would be leaving huge shoes to fill when it came to events like that.

If channel 9 gets it perhaps there will be an improvement of the coverage through Big Pond V8SC channel.

I got sick of the advert breaks during the delayed coverage on channel 7, so changed to the V8 channel on my T-Box and they were replaying Symmons Plains...from whatever year it was.

As for commentators, yeah. Crompton and Larkham for sure, but replace the rest of them.

Lucky 7 will exit V8 Supercars at years end. That is yet another team chasing a sponsor for 2013. Times are tough...

...and they're going to get tougher.
We've been a tad isolated with the mining boom but it's over so we are going to feel a lot more pain.
