YUP they are paying all that money for Courtney AND Tander[crackup]

Seriously, if you were Tander, you wouldn't be happy. They are (allegedly) paying JC $1.3M per year, and he (GT) can't even afford an orthodontist to fix up his gap toothed f*kwit grin. Go figure :)

Tanders on $800 grand a year.

If you included Courtneys damage bill he'd be earning more than double what Tander.

Dick Johnson should add miracle worker to his resume.
Seeing what Crashney did before and after he joined DJR

It's ok, Joolia is putting the money in for all of Pricess Wallbangers repairs, hence the bail out of Holden. [y]

Not so sure the figures are correct, Tander has just purchased a nice new home not far from where i live, he either has plenty of cash or a fabulous bank manager

Jim Beam Racing will revert to its traditional white livery from Queensland Raceway onwards.

The Ford Falcons of Steven Johnson and Dean Fiore have sported the hues of the bourbon brand’s ‘Honey’ and ‘Devil’s Cut’ range since the opening event of the 2012 season. The end of Jim Beam’s marketing campaign around those two products will seen the return to its traditional white hues.
The new liveries on the #17 and #12 Ford Falcons will be unveiled just prior to the Queensland Raceway event, to be held on August 3-5.

Dick Johnson Racing’s chief operating officer Scott Jennings confirmed the upcoming change.

“The cars will be changed over after the Townsville weekend,” Jennings told Speedcafe.com.

“Jim Beam has made the decision to swap it back. The ‘Honey’ and ‘Devil’s Cut’ colours have worked really well to promote their new flavours in their range, but those campaigns are coming to an end.

Jim Beam began its sponsorship of Dick Johnson Racing in 2007 and has used its support in a variety of ways – from subtle livery changes to complete redesigns.

While there has been a range of different looks, a base white scheme has been the standard over the past six years.

“When you think of the white Jim Beam livery, you think of James Courtney’s championship win in 2010,” Jennings said.

“The Jim Beam brand is very strong and evokes its own emotions. It will be good to get back to the white schemes, and they’ll be a bit different to what you’ve seen in the past.”

The V8 Supercars return to the track this weekend for the Skycity Triple Crown at Darwin’s Hidden Valley Raceway.

Glad to hear this. Too many black cars and with DJR buried mid-pack these days they are often harder to spot.

Hopefully the new lick of paint brings with it the pace we had when the cars were last white.

I think that could have been the problem with the speed. Doesn't white paint add less weight than coloured paint??

Yeah, can't wait for them to go white, it was good luck previously so here's hoping ! Plus Honey is sticky and would create drag anyway. [hb]
