Once again,. . . . .things have gone decidedly downwards , and it's been since Malcolm came on. Both drivers are complaining about lack of drive and rear end feel, maybe they have a point ?[bgn]

Are you saying, "Where's AB?" [?]

Pick any of them, A. Davo, Coulthard, Fiore. They're all in front of Jnr and Moffat today. I give Moffat some leeway as it's his first year in the main game, but seriously, Jnr, you can do better than that. And, if that's your best, then it may be time to sit down and have a long think about what's best for the team.

Starting to feel fairly disheartened by it all. The team has shown that they can do this, what's caused the wheels to fall off, and so quickly.

Hmm what to do this afternoon, am starting to think it won't be watching the race.

Feels like the First Rock V8 telecom days all over again.

Fair dinkum this is a joke. Heads needs to roll, before the end of the year to get a fresh start for next year

Once again,. . . . .things have gone decidedly downwards , and it's been since Malcolm came on.

Although Malcolm didn't 'officially' commence until a few rounds in, he was with the team at the test day at Eastern Creek at the beginning of the year. I thought we could have credited DJR's strong start to the year to Malcolm as Steve showed great qualifying pace and consistency in race trim, jagging several podiums. I don't think we can say things have spiralled since Malcolm came on board as they were very competetive until the enduro's.

What puzzles me is the rate at which they have gone backwards. Steve has literally gone from the front to the rear of the grid in a couple of months. Even in the most trying times (2002/2006), we never performed this poorly.

They must have gone off on a developmental tangent after QR which has simply not worked, but I don't understand why they can't revert to settings from earlier in the year.

Apart from DJR's struggle, the whole series has lost the plot. Tired of deciding on which T8 car will win, and who will scramble for the minors. Racing is boring and the factory teams still have the budget and consistency to give the others no chance at a look in.

If things don't change quickly I for one will be lost, as I my enthusiasm is rapidly fading away....

I find it hard to believe that they have made some drastic change to the 888 chassis that cannot be reversed. At one point Steve was third best qualifier behind the two 888 cars, where the hell has the pace gone? could it be that the other teams have made progress and we have not?

Short answer...NO!

This begs the question - what do we do about COTF?
Do we stick with 888 chassis or should we become an FPR customer for the new cars?

I also find it hard to believe that Jnr has lost so much pace in such a short period of time. What the hells going on! I thought after the test day after Phillip Island they'd found the problem and all was right in the world again, but apparently not.

In this weeks AA it suggests that DJR may even consider running 4 cars in 2012 to gain greater economies of scale. Fiore is all but confirm with the possibility of DJR either purchasing or leasing a PMM REC for a 4th entry. The driver touted is Steve Owen. Morris maintains he will run 2 cars next year so who knows what might eventuate

FPR sounds good to me because thats where I am going in 2013 if things stay the same as they are today. I recon Steve should kick back a bit in 2012 and drive #18 and give Moff the #17.

One more year after the turmoil from last year to get over it or I'm out of it!

Come on Djr....Pull ya finger out!

Well I wasn't born a djr fan because I was born well before that but I'll die one. I follow the other Ford teams because my blood is blue. Sometimes it feels as though I've lost a lot of the blue stuff with all the djr ups and downs but I won't abandon them. In saying that, I don't always sit quietly and believe what I hear and am only too happy to "offer advice" as I see fit.

Ditto,

Frustration about how things are going is all well and good, but talking about quitting the team, too much for me, I'm a lifer, tragic as that may be[help]

Yep, DJR all the way.

Don't be hard on 4EVER17, we all have moments of weakness. DJR is what brings us together. I have no doubt that DJR is working hard to get the cars back up the front where they belong!

Hi All

Haven't posted for a while and yes have been frustrated also but couldn't abandon DJR. I haven't kept up with this COTF stuff but could it be possible with such a loss in performance that DJR could be testing some stuff for next year or even new bits for next year for the current car.

thanks
