bigcol, good summary of the first game but I dont go much on your prediction for game 2! Joey is fitter than he has been for a long time and he won't be tiring. Remember, Johnsy only had a broken jaw which didn't stop him from training and keeping fit. Anasta will provide another dimension, so long as the pigs go forward. It doesn't matter how good your halves are, if there is no forward penetration, they won't shine.QLD had enough ball in the first game to win 3 matches, I think that has got to be a real worry for them. NSW with that amount of ball would have put 40 points on the morons.. sorry maroons!

The ten points will only come about by pressure on the ref about the imaginary 10 metre off side play by QLD

Racin being fit and being match fit are two toatlly diferent things.

Sorry bigcol, I don't like to gloat... OK yes I do!!!! Joey is an absolute superstar and he showed last night why he is still the best player in the world! My predictions were pretty bloody close too! The game went pretty much how I thought it would! What you were saying about match fitness bigcol, I would normally agree with, but it is Andrew Johns and he isn't any normal player. I put him in the same class as Wally Lewis. Those two are the best footballers I have ever seen.

It was a pretty good game of football. Steve Clark had little influence after twenty minutes, which was thankful, considering recent Origin referees have had far too much influence on the game. Andrew Johns had an outstanding game, as did Matt King and Braith Anasta, who looked for the first time an Origin player. Game 3 should be a cracker at Suncorp. Who will be the referee? Mander? Simpkins? Hayne? Hampstead? Clark?

Well done NSW, stuck to the game plan, gave Joey some room and deservedly won.

I did think i was watching grid iron for a moment. F#@% there was some forward passes.

To top it off CH 9 did the worst f%$&ing telecast i have ever seen.
No replays till after the commercials.
No half time stats
No full time stats
Moving camera angle when they should of f%^*ing left it where it was.
And to see a full wrap up of the game we've got to watch those dumb arse's on the Footy Show to see it.

bigcol, once again you are on the money! That footy show has been absolute drivel for the last 5-6 yrs. There are only so many times a head wobble can be funny. There are two blokes on that show that should go. The other 2 can stay, then bring back blocker and possibly Wally Lewis. Wally has become a fairly good braodcaster and noone knows the game better, he is wasted at fox where they hardly use him.
