I don't know if the young fellas would have beaten Manly - I guess we'll never know.
They surely never gave up though.
Foran was offside when Daly put the kick up for that try, yet not a word was said.
I thought "benefit of the doubt" should have been applied for the Broncs no -try, after all BoD was brought in to favour the attacking team - the ball was on its way back down when Foran (?) got in the way so it should have been assumed that it touched the ground. That being said, Lyon did a great job, unfortunately.
Sammy gets pinged for not standing up to play the ball when there's a Manly hand on him but when it's the other way round Manly get the penalty.
Refereeing was pretty ordinary and Mattai needs a good holiday for his knee job!

Throw in the non suspension of Williams swinging arm, Mattai's knees and the slap over the wrist the rest of the team copped for running 40 metres to belt Adam Blair.

My favorite team the Wynnum Manly Seagulls won the Intrust QLD Cup on the weekend.
Great effort.
Lost their first 6 matches of the season.
Could only manage 9 wins and a draw from 20 matches but won them when it mattered and went into the final series on a roll.
Was the last team in the finals in 6th place, with history against them as no other side has ever won from there.
They beat the Tweed Heads Seagulls 16- 10 in the final.

I am a Wynnum Manly Boy and I had to go to Suncorp for the game. I did what my dad did in 95. I took my 3 boys to watch WN get the grand prize. Atmosphere was awesome
