I think everyone on this site has been around far to long to expect anything else Jase. To me though, V8 Supercar has taken a huge leap backwards over this whole issue & all I can say is thank christ for DJR.....otherwise I would be finding it a little bit hard to stay interested in the sport right now!

Well as the only team to get anywhere near them in WA Jase, if we can find another tenth or 2 we might be able to knock them off fair & square even as they are.

They haven't been pushed yet & when they do, we all know what mistakes the drivers & their mechanical reliablity are capable of.

Don't worry, Ford will be back as our teams won't give up that easily.

I think the faster tracks may sort them out. Even in the last few years the DJR cars were pretty close to on the pace at Bathurst even without having 888 input. I reckon they will be real good by October. Wouldn't it be good to see Will become the "new enforcer"! I think he has it in him too!

I can accept that perhaps they are doing a better job ATM but all this license crap should be finished with. I can see similarities between this Skaife/Tega bussiness and the Bulldogs salary cap rort of a few years ago.

All I can see is a saga that isn't doing the sport any good at all. I don't mind them being the class of the fleet (as they are a present), but I cannot stand the sort of bullsgit that we're constantly subjected to because they can't quickly resolve TEGA's queries.

I don't know - or care - what the issues truly are. But if there are issues, then they should be resolved FAST! I'm with NASCAR... revoke all points, withhold all prizemonies and appearance fees until such time that they are found to conform with all of TEGA's concerns.

IN a season that we're finally seeing some promise from "our" team, that there's some good hard racing happening (albeit for no better than fourth place yet), we're distracted by the constant barrage of crapulence regarding HRT Tom Walkinshaw and monies owed. Or licences. Or ownership. Or the use-by date on the milk in Skaifey's fridge...

HRT still have not complied with TEGA's requests, but they are racing in NZ.

What a f&%king joke. The HRT team is a joke. The sport is descending into high farce... I'm seriously considering spending the weekend fishing at Dohle's Rocks, rather than wasting my time boosting the Black Wiggle's TV ratings... if I didn't think DJR were worth a look, I'd probably spend the weekend pulling my toenails out with the pliers rather than switch the crystal bucket on.

Skaifey could do worse than to let whatever scraps of "his" team he's allowed to own go at a fire sale, and drive for BJR...

My question is where did all the equipment HRT had at it's disposal go? For years we heard how they had the best of everything, and that if the Ford teams wanted to win they had to invest in infrastructure rather than coffee machines...

So where is that stuff now, why do they have to rely on Walkinshaw for cars/parts/etc, surely skaifee didn't give it all away and therefore doesn't have to be reliant on TW they always did rely on dencar for the chassis' but surely they could have brought that in house with the switch to VE's

The other question is, how does a well funded team like HRT end up owing money to anybody? Where has the money gone, we have at various times heard all sorts of accusations of the usual ****stirrers saying Dick was missmanaging the sponsorship paid to DJR by buying boats etc, why does nobody say boo when it becomes apparent that the best funded team in pit lane has a severe budget shortfall?
