Have a close look at the colouring of the "DJR" website to see why it's a Shell release.

Shell have basically announced that they aren't carrying the bulk of the burden, but are retaining some sort of involvement... eveing if it's just lubes and fuel, it's a reasonable deal. The talk of a predominantly blue car is interesting... there've been some successful blue cars carrying #17 in the past...

With change occuring constantly in V8 Supercars, it's no surprise to see Shell walk. But don't expect me to buy my petrol exclusively from Shell servos anymore.

I don't mind who appears on the car as long as DJR has a stable package to race at the front.

Hi all

at the risk of looking even sillier than normal - who or what is westpoint - there was talk of Bank of Queensland which Chalks denied (yet he denied the Seton deal too) - they are predominantly blue in their logo and have long supported DJR from the sidelines.

the scuttlebutt on the various forums (fora?) so far has mentioned in the blue corner... Westpoint, BoQ, and Cabcharge... I can virtually guarantee it's not Tru-Blu steel tubing I think...

Ive been thinking about bloody blue & white logos just before I fall asleep for the last week. Im sure I dreamt the cars being released with the new sponser, but for the life of me I cant remember who it was.

So far Ive thought of:
Ford
FPV
Cabcharge
Masport
ANZ Bank
Walkers??? Is that some automotive company with a blue logo?
GE Electric
Officeworks
Mitre 10
AMP
Pfizer
DJR320??

Cant wait to hear!!
