Steve just posted on fb that they have no idea why they are so far off the pace and they have tried everything in the truck but still have no solution. Could be a veeeery long day tomorrow unless they come up with something overnight.

THIS IS SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![rt]
Maybe they should just go in someone else's truck!!

So much for the saving the tyres bullshit we got spun yesterday. Really hope they can find some speed out of them for tomorrow or not much point turning the tv on!

Lucky for myself and XYGTReplica we will be at the Bowdens for the day...

Going from what they have said that they have thrown everything in the truck at them (17 & 18) i know what the problem is.

They have obviously filled the cars up with too much shit instead of leaving it in the truck...[crackup][crackup]

Well that was a fairly poor result, going to make for a long day tomorrow.

Have to agree with RJ's many posts on the form they showed today.

At least the Broncos won.

well at least #18 looks quicker post warmup...
#17 may as well take to the track on the brake rotors, probably get better grip from them

Hopefully they went different directions on set up for 17 and 18 and 18 worked. Then they can transfer the 18 set up onto 17. like I said hopefully......[sh]

Now starts either the longest Sunday arvo in recent history or the thrill of watching 2 cars carve up the traffic. :D

there's some soul searching to be done before bathurst for sure...

lets hope they find some damn good answers

That was one of the longest afternoons of motorsport.
Not sure who turned around Jnr, as the clowns at C7 didn't show it, but they couldn't take a trick.

I hope some questions can be answered before Bathurst.

This might explain a few things...

I think that was one of the most contrived races,. . . . [rt][rt][rt]

Could Adrian Burgess have made a difference to today's performance woes? maybe, i think he is a big loss to the team.

Could Charlie have made this any more palatable, Nup, charlie only had eyes for James, his ideas were all about running a team to make James No. 1 and that worked, with no james , there's no place for Charlie.

Can the Team find that spanner in the works before Bathurst, f$#% I hope so.[help]

Its bloody hard when the teams like DJR, BJR etc are trying to beat teams with huge budgets and the latest of everything. I hope car of the future helps to remove the opportunity for the rich teams to put in place development programs that the small teams can only dream of.
I would expect the DJR cars are pretty close to last years spec, where as 888, HRT etc will have continued to make advancements with their cars throughout this year.
Steve usually puts together a strong performance at Bathurst, so lets hope top 5 is possible, im not in to this top28 crap.

To the best of my knowledge there were only the 2 vodafone cars/ 1 hrt / 1 fpr and 1 sbr car out on the track today

Least thats what I gathered from the coverage

I thought exactly the same, Was there DJR cars racing today?? Only good thing to come out of today that HRT was beaten by two ex-drivers infront of Ryan Walkinshaw.
