Looks like we are in for a long weekend, both cars look off the pace in the practice sessions today. Phillip Island never looks to suit the DJR/JBR cars in previous years.

Mind games... Will see what happens on Sunday which is payday, prefer Sandown as an Enduro track.

Not long till Bathurst though!

When you have great reliability and you complete every lap all year, you aren't going to have a very flash tyre bank, unlike Crashney who should have a heap of new tyres tucked away. I'm not too concerned but if they are in the same positions after qualifying today I might be.

Good point RJ!!

EDIT: I hope they didn't use good tyres in practice 4 because they're still a fair way back.

The thing is that they will know how old the tyres are, and will be able to compare their times on these tyres to times set last year in the race by tyres of a similar age. That they can do this and still aren't positive about the performance is worrying, and P4 has done little to ease the concern.

Now would be a good time to load them back into the trailer and head north. If that is all they have, it ain't worth it. I was so looking forward to this weekend and so far it is all shit![rt]

I've been watching the Davis Cup, Rugby World Cup, Queensland Cup and only flicking over to Phillip Island during the ad breaks.
It's all pretty sad.
Why have the wheels fallen off?

Check out the lap times at Natsoft.com.au. Car 17 was 1.1seconds a lap slower than the quickest car.
It will take something special to find 1.1 sec overnight.
Im not looking forward to tommorows race from almost rear of feild.

Well, sounds like it was a great day for me to miss then. It's going to be a big long day for the boys tomorrow, to be honest it sounds like they need to throw a bag of concrete in the boot to try to stabalise the rear ends.

Anyway, I hope they can pull back some places with consistancy.

Steve just posted on fb that they have no idea why they are so far off the pace and they have tried everything in the truck but still have no solution. Could be a veeeery long day tomorrow unless they come up with something overnight.

THIS IS SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![rt]

So much for the saving the tyres bullshit we got spun yesterday. Really hope they can find some speed out of them for tomorrow or not much point turning the tv on!
