Dick and djr are the only entities I have followed for a very long time. I grew up loving Norm Beechey because from my perspective,he was great (and before Dick's time).
I met Dick before he was married (although it was through Jilly) and have steadfastly followed and supported his racing ever since.
God forbid anything should happen to djr but if it did, I wouldn't be supporting anyone else.
It would be un-Australian, to say the least.
It pisses me off to read all the unadulterated crap that some seem to enjoy making up and I truly hope that djr sticks it up them all.

Like you Gerry I remeber times befor DJR....For me it was John Goss because of my fathers connection with Aunger. Then Bobby Morris...Untill as a young boy I saw Dick at Amaroo in 1980...And that Blu Ford just blew me away....It was the sound and Dad had a XD as a company car.

Its a shame that many new v8 supports dont remeber Amaroo , Stormin Normn or Bobby (Have we got a race going on hear folks ) Morris

Its a shame the TC has taken all the history from our sport.

I was once tempted in 82 to return to Bob Morris...But I rejected that tempation and have been DJR since.

And regardless of what happen in 2011 it will always be DJR !
