Great stories about the DJR pit at Bathurst.
Ya pricks you bought a tear to my eye

The most memorable moves were(because there were quite a lot) done by the DJ/JB EBII at Sandown in 94.
They had massive brakes and a great aero package. Going into and through the wiggly bits at the end of the back straight.
While every one else was struggling to keep it straight under brakes and on line the 17 car just destroyed them all at that series of corners

I think I recall DJ saying that Sandown '94 was where they first ran the Penske shocks and purchased their shock dyno. The EB was a real rocket at Sandown that day and of course carried it over to Bathurst.

Not exactly the right place to be asking this question, But it's working fine from here... Make sure it's a JPG or a GIF and make sure the files are below 300kb..

As a True Blue Ford Fan,The best move of all time would have to be at Bathurst during that majic day when Moffet & Bond KNOCKED em out 1,2..
Was at the end of conrod in the early laps when Moff made the pass for 1st position and then pulled in hardleft and Bond came around all of them to lead the Great Race 1,2...Oooh Yea!.[^]

I remember that, I think Grice was the other car involved.

I realise I'm late to respond, but Whoa! Those posts literally gave me goosebumps. Thanks for sharing DJRFAN & Hardie Hero. I don't mean to sound evangelical, but geeze, how great is it to support & be involved with such a fantastic race team, which reciprocates so well to it's fans. God I love DJR. And thank you to all you fellow members for being just as passionate about "our" team. It's a great thing to be part of.[bc]

Awesome posts fellas! What a magic day that was. I had a coronary when Steve took the lead cos he could have won it as easily as he could have hung it on a fence somewhere....

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I intend to be at the surfers round because I have a feeling it will be a very special place. Bugger next year....the team needs it in 2008!
