BodyShell was what i was told and that they had to work out where engine/gearbox would be mounted... I assume this is from T888 like has previousily been stated, but it doesn't sound like a complete car like others might be getting.

HAHAHAHAHAAHA... I don't get the hush hush in the sport anyway. I really wanna spill about the outgoing and their new contract, might change some people view of them on here!

I spoke with a few of the guys at Bathurst and T8 are suppling body shells and the same parts they currently supply. The assembly will be done inhouse by DJR as will the engines. They are not getting T8 cars as people are stating on other forums.

This comes from Charlie and one of the drivers engineers, HH was with me when we were told this.

Looking at the way our cars have improved over this year, we should have a pretty good package for next season, with a couple of fresh shells,

can't wait to see how they look in the livery

The cars will be supplied as 'non-rolling chassis' from 888... Everything else will be DJR... This is where we will have the advantage...

Big things for 2010... 2009 will be test & tune...

2010 is hammer time... :D

Depends how quickly Adrian Burgess can get on top of the FG and his new driver. [w]

JC doesn't seem to have Jim and Ross Stone singing his praises with his development skills.

You mean the worst-kept secret deal since Judas did the rat on a Nazareth carpenter?

Sorry, wrong JC?

The DJR and SBR team will be at Metro Ford in Brisbane signing stuff etc.... if you're into that sort of thing.

May be interesting to see at which table JC will be sitting at????

Maybe Davo and JC did a swap at the 11th hour? :D

That would be nice wouldnt it?

I've been thinking about it for a while, and if Jnr Leaves, i think i might leave with him... For me.. I follow the Johnson family. And with Charlie taking over and Dick seemingly having less and less to do with the big decisions, there might not be too much Johnson left at DJR..

Wash your mouth out Mitch..[sc] You can't be serious surely. While ever DJ & Jillie are still the face of DJR thats good enough for me.

i was born in 1987.. Bowe, Radisich, & Jnr mean 'DJR' to me as much as dick does if im honest. That's not to say im not a huge fan, and i've read all the books and watched all the DVD's and have a good knowledge of the history of the team and all that, and i have watched the tapes from 89 and 94..

I just cant imagine DJR without a Johnson. It will just be odd. I dont know what my reaction will be.

Im with you Mitchell, Dick and Jill may be the face of DJR, but it sure doesn't look like they have a great deal of ownership anymore. It wont be long before the team is promoted as DJR not Dick Johnson Racing. My understanding is that Charlie is a very sharp business man and he pounced on DJR when Dick was backed into a corner and now owns a motor racing business, and thats what it is to Charlie, hes a business man. Buy them when there desperate, sell them once you have turned them around, at a huge profit!
