When he said it's the Ferrari team , it's the top of V8 supercars, I'm already turning off.

When you have to buy the number 1 . . it's the equivilent of the biggest looser.[jk]

I'm not sure it should even be allowed, I reckon if the championship winner cannot stay with the winning team they should forfeit the number 1.[rt]

just watched the CH7 news, its all over. JC now wearing a HRT shirt, really sad for THE TEAM.

One thing remains, DJR No:1 in 2010.

I didn't think it would bother me too much but after seeing him in that red shirt again, I have changed my mind! Thanks for the championship James, but now you are just another Assclown in red![sa][gcs][sts]

I am ropeable but have to point out that his family's Holden roots are true. I remember back to the days when father Jim would tow his and son James' karts into Lithgow kart track in a Kingswood Carpets sponsored enclosed trailer behind an SS Commodore, Jim's pride and joy. Mind you now that James is a big boy and makes his own decisions i believe he is in fact more partial to the European marques (Audi 's i believe) so he is still pissing into the wind somewhat. If a driver leaves then the number 1 should be split in half and in this case if they want use it on Toll it should read 1/2 or .5 or 22.5 or 22.1/2 or FAKE! or Pretender or B.S. or THIEF! or Burglar!

I`m with you Vince. Not-Right & False economey![sa]

I was disappointed, particularly with all the shoosh, then BANG, here he is.spuiking hrt. Just the nature of the business I guess. The ford verses holden thing is a farce anyway. They are all the same car with two manufacturers desperately trying to continue to cash in on the series, because there are people who still get worked up about it.

I'm a courtney supporter but anything with djr on it better be in front of him in all the races

Personally, i think you're all acting like wankers!! [f]

We've known for AGES that he was going to HRT. Certainly long before he won the championship the other day, yet you still all chanted his name when he was ripping up the track with burnouts...

I dont like seeing him in the HRT shirt anymore than anyone else, but carring on and calling him names and accusing him of being fake and two faced and blah blah blah... He's the same guy he was 2 weeks ago, and the same guy that's been great to the fans and the team during his stay with us.

Wake up to yourselves. It's real life, and it's business. HRT are paying his wages now, and im sure theyre paying him a big one. He'll say whatever they tell him to say. It doesnt mean squat.

The only FACT is that he won a title for DJR, and i will always be a fan...

True but we as loyal fans would like abit shown back and also show some respect by telling the truth. Switching sides would have been easier to take if we were told the truth. Why lie about staying with DJR and then moving on. Why lie about needing new challenges and need to move on after 2 years only to say he wants to finish his career at HRT

hahahaha, good post, Mitch.

Can't say that I've been crying into my pillow since the announcement was made, disappointing as it is that he's taken his talent to HRT...

I look at it from a different angle. Im thankful that he left it up and the air and gave it a few weeks before announcing that he was going (to HRT of all places)... if he got up on the podium saying 'Yeah DJRs great and ill miss them next year when im driving for Holden and HRT' it wouldnt have been very nice, would it... he gave Dick, and all of us, every opportunity to enjoy OUR championship without taking all the headlines..

Times have changed, once upon a time drivers stayed loyal to a brand because the particular brand kept paying the bills throughout their career, but in fairness they only paid the bills for a chosen few like Brock, Johnson, Moffat etc . These days a drivers life span at the top of their game is about 15 years less than it was in Dicks day, so they go through the process, 1. paying for their seat, 2. proving themselves and getting a sniff of the $$$, 3. getting a drive in a good team and making some serious $$$. But at this point, take Frosty for example he only has about 15 years to cash up and set himself up for the years after he hangs up his hat, based on this you can't blame people like James for chasing the dollars, lets face it for an extra 500k per year he would drive a Wolsley.
These days i think you need to follow a team, accept the drivers for that period and if they move on or are replaced so be it, just keep cheering for your team. Go DJR

Some honesty would be nice.

In reality when James signed with The other brand, it was possible JBR wasn't going to exist next year. It would be nice to hear these guys say that honestly and we could all show some respect to their decision. To keep contradicting everything that comes out of your mouth just makes them look cheap and shallow at best.

Most on here seem to be bagging the shit out of James for taking what seems like an offer he couldn't refuse, when the bloke you should be slinging off at is his manager Gow. He would have been the one telling James to take it because he knew he was going to make a fair bit of coin out of it.

In the long run i'm sure if someone from the opposition gave you an offer you couldn't refuse you'd be out the door real quick to take the $$$$$.

Adrian Burgess took a deal with Tr888or that he couldn't refuse yet i don't see anyone bagging the shit out of him.
