Can we get some trivia going again?

  • 1. "Your knowledge and input is always welcome but please respect the team, the drivers and other members. Abuse or harsh criticisms will not be tolerated".

    2. "This forum is designated 'Family Friendly' - (ie. we have young & impressionable readers - even if they're not Members/Posters) - therefore language must be moderated! - (how would YOU feel about YOUR 9 year old reading it?)

    3. "Use of characters (eg. #$*@!) that only 'partially' disguise an intended vulgar/offensive word(s) is unacceptable!
If you MUST express yourself in such a manner... use ***** and let the reader's imagination 'fill in the blanks'."

Yes & V8 Supercars.

I'm assuming that we are talking motorsport sponsorship - i think it was a motorbike racing / moto-cross team

I got some stuff of mine today that I obviously havnt seen'for a few years & couldn't believe what I saw! So had to share!

Who had the sponsorship before Djr??

I remember in '04 going to the Clipsal 500 there was a 'JBR' Commodore there, VX maybe? They also had a small mech tent there selling JBR t-shirts and caps

IIRC they just ran the practice sessions to avoid any non appearance fines from V8SC, and my guess is it was Rod Nash Racing running the car at the time?

Very Close ~ I Think ?

What I`m looking at is 2005 and I don`t think the driver then would have been driving for Rod at any time but mabe they had an arrangement in 04....Na, I don`t think so.

Can you remember what colours were used?

Completely red car with the Jim Beam Logo on the sides and bonnet. It was quite a 'clean' livery with not much else going on from memory.

I just did some cheatsearching - was it Imrie Motorsport with Phillip Scifleet doing the driving?

Could you be more specific please? Are you asking about interior or exterior? Race or road cars?
If I had to take a wild stab on it being the exterior badges on a production car then I would guess it's the 4x4 falcon ute.
