I'm guessing Steve was involved in the Ritter spin, although we will never know from the coverage or the DJR website. The important thing is both cars are straight(assuming 17 was'nt damaged). I would like to see an improvement in the updates from the team, we are all still guessing about yesterday, Diffey saying Steve must have had a problem while I thought he was just letting all the trouble pass him. The weekend was all about keeping it straight, I think we should at least get a media release within twelve hours of a race.Anyway bring on Adelaide, I really think Steve is up for it this year, and I hope Seto can prove a lot of the doubters very wrong.

It's always the way with the offical site Donk. When the team achieves a good result they update very quickly but if they don't...don't hold your breath...

Maybe the damage was done to the tailshaft off the line Rob 18, and it only hung together for a few laps? Either way, I can't remember the last time a DJR car did a tailshaft.

Hi Rob, as much as I like the Rat, he broke lotsa things in his time with DJR. As for Steve,I was a little disappointed he didn't push more - but as it turns out they were testing different setups. I just pray that the team comes out firing in Adelaide to silence the knockers

Steve's 1st race was very encouraging I thought Doug, where he managed to pass several cars, including the hard to pass Bowe, to make the top ten & was closing in on Ritter fast for 9th when the chequer came out. Both DJR Fords seemed to look after their treads better than most, something that unfortunately didn't translate to the rest of the weekend for some reason..

DJR copped a bit of flack over the weekend for their below par performance but I think that there was enough potential shown in that 1st race, especially since they were untested, to think this could be a better year for DJR.

Bring on Adelaide..

Hopefully the things learnt from the GP will allow them to make the most of their upcoming test day and put them well within the the top ten for Adelaide.

For untested cars, I think that they went alright.[8D]

Did the guys have the cars setup in Wet Wet mode for race two? That would explain away the backwards direction in race two as the track dried underneath them and the tyres went to mush.
