I wonder who's job it is to make sure that the fuel rig is able to 'plug into' the car (before it goes out)???

I can't describe how I feel at the moment. I really don't know what to say.......Gutted. Watching the restarts with Rick challenging Tander for the lead, knowing that was the track position Steve had, I felt physically ill. He was in second for Christ sake! With a car capable of challenging for the win. Of course the commentary team was to busy marking the time difference between Rick and Tander to even notice that Steve had come out between them and put 8 car lengths on Rick in 2 laps.

How many more points are we going to give away in the pits this year?

Bugger, was looking forward to Steve having a good round, hopefully he's over it before our visit on Saturday. [B)]

Well done to James he again showed he has great speed.

The guy that stuffed Steve's race with the fuel cap thing I am sure has had a stern talking too.

Great to see both our cars qualify so well. James weekend was excellent today?s race was going well until he was helped off the track. But it shows excellent signs. No idea whys Steve?s cars didn't seem to have race pace in either race.

James race was stuffed up by Tim Slade locking a brake so James had to avoid him at the time he was ahead of Dill maybe another podium gone begging.

Steve had an engine problem yesterday - it was replaced overnight and today he had pace, he was just well and truly stuffed by the "refuelling problems".

My thoughts EXACTLY!

(unless it's some crap VESA 'rule' - but even if it is, what possible reason could there be??)

They might run a smaller tank and take a lighter load of fuel for qualifying and sprints, could lighten up the car a little? maybe.

I missed the races today , and I can't believe Rek Kelly wasn't starting from the rear after what was a repeat of his first Indy with him deliberatyly not backing off to give racing room after a pass had been effected with first a bump in the corner and then a full T Bone into the wall.[jk]

From what my young bloke told me it looked as if the 888 boys didn't bother to qualify and were happy to run mid pack of the ten, looks to me like 888 have been bought and paid for well and truely.[pk]

No TS its the same tank (when it was planned that they run smaller tanks this year, one of the objections the teams had, was that it was a 2 man x 6-8 hour job to swap the tanks over)

There is also separate refilling access (inside the boot) for topping up for practice/Quali etc.

They also swap the dry-break filling coupling from side to side (depending on which side the pits are on) and the 'off' side has a 'blank' screwed down over the 'hole'

For some (unknown) reason, they had the 'blank' screwed down over the active dry-break coupling sockets)

And what about Jason Richards punting James off the track into turn Two causing him to lose a few spots. Must have something to do with his last name.

So... all in favour of Jason Richards as the next TTT ???

Form an orderly queue here [sa]

Why no instant drive-thru for Richards? Typical dive-bomb manoeuvre from him I was predicting five laps before it happened.

Taken from Cams website

Matters arising from Race 14:

The bad sportsmanship flag was displayed to Rick Kelly Car #15 for blocking.

Investigations into a number of incidents which occurred during the Race will be investigated at Queensland Raceway. The outcome of these will not change the Results of Race 14.

Is all a load of Bull*&it if you ask me first Jason Richards on Courtney then Tony D'Alberto pushed him of the track at turn 4 and nothing was done about it. You can guarantee if it was Steve or James or a number of others they would have been penalised

Only as the crew member that left the fuel cover on Steve's car is not eligible
