Might not be what it seems yet. According to the V8 supercars website (last bit of the story about Will someone winning something), a protest from TeamVodafone?s car #1 against Toll HRT?s car #22 was being investigated.

Who knows what the hell that is about, but if karma plays a part, maybe JC will get the win. Fingers crossed.

Can't find any info yet on what the protest is about.

It was the Mark Skaife knock you off line and then pass underneath that Whingcup is bitching about.

Next year hasn't even started and the fighting has started between the Holden boys.
Bring it on it might Fords only hope of winning next year if these 2 teams belt each other senseless

It would appear that the guys have good car speed now and only have to figure out how to look after the tyres better.

What was Reck doing yesterday with Bright? That is vintage pRick if I have ever seen it! Now who was it that reckons the Kelly boys are the two dirtiest drivers in the field?

P2 and 3 for Courtney and Stevie J respectively after this mornings Quali! There's also only 6/100ths of a second between the two. I hope they have a bit of luck at Bathurst, because they are both F.A.S.T.!!!!

They both have a good set of tyres left after only using the softs yesterday. Great to see both cars up the pointy end. Tander will be the danger today as he didn't use the softs yesterday.

Great job by the DJR boys.

Also the protest lodged by Tr8tor got thrown out. It was about the amount of radiator blanking in the HRT cars. Surely they can come up with something better than that.

If Tander becomes Take-Out-Tander he won't be a problem.
Tander can have a quick start and go straight into the back of Rick, then Whincup can come up the inside and finish both of them off.
Problem solved!
