STEWARDS SUMMARY
UPDATE 1: 1800hrs Saturday 6th October 2012
Matters arising from Qualifying:
During the session a report was received of Car #8 Jason Bright being impeded.
At 1200hrs Stewards commenced a Hearing concerning a Charge that Michael Patrizi Car #91 had impeded Jason Bright Car #8. The Hearing adjourned after hearing evidence from witnesses and receiving documents at 1220hrs. The Hearing reconvened at 1730hrs. The Stewards found the Charge proved. A penalty of a loss of 5 Grid positions was imposed on Michael Patrizi Car #91.
Matters arising from Practice and Setup:
After an investigation and an admission by Vendace Car #18 that a Team motorhome had entered the Paddock before the permitted time of 1330hrs on 3/10/12 Stewards imposed a Fine of $2000 suspended until 31/12/12.
After an investigation and an admission by Dick Johnson Racing Car #17 that a Team motorhome had entered the Paddock before the permitted time of 1330hrs on 3/10/12 Stewards imposed a Fine of $2000 suspended until 31/12/12.
After an investigation and an admission by Triple 8 Race Engineering Cars #1 & #888 that a Team motorhome had entered the Paddock before the permitted time of 1330hrs on 3/10/12 Stewards imposed a Fine of $2000 suspended until 31/12/12.
After an investigation and an admission by Walkinshaw Racing Cars #2 & 66 that 2 Team motorhomes had entered the Paddock before the permitted time of 1330hrs on 3/10/12 Stewards imposed a Fine of $4000 suspended until 31/12/12.
After an investigation and an admission by Bellmont Nominees Car #18 that a Team truck had left the Paddock before the permitted time of 1830hrs on 3/10/12 Stewards imposed a Fine of $1000 suspended until 31/12/12.
Shane van Gisbergen Car #9 was recorded as exceeding the Pitlane speed limit with a speed of 48km/h. Stewards imposed a Fine of $300 on Shane van Gisbergen.
Matters Arising from Previous Meetings:
Stewards conducted a Hearing of Charges the during Race 6 at Hamilton Triple F Racing Car #12 and that Vendace Car #17 during Races 14 and 15 at Townsville, Races 16 and 17 at Queensland Raceway and Races 18 and 19 at Sydney Motorsport Park had used an engine with heads weighing less than the prescribed 13.5kgs. The Charges were dismissed.

Was Alex faster then James today in Car #17? It seemed like when James got in it went backwards. It also looked similar in car #18 with Alan & Steven.
Straight line handling isnt the issue, so cross that one off the troubleshooting list...
No, it just THAT feeling AGAIN - high hopes, low expectations etc.... gutted.
Now we find out we have the fastest cars in the pack
Good gutsy drive from Reynolds - made the afternoon worth watching
