I'm sorry people, but myself, a long suffering DJR fan, have just about had enough of running mid-field with a team that has such a strong winning tradition especially when DJ was behind the wheel. We keep being promised of improved results but she's just not happening is it??
Us poor Seto fans have been suddering much longer than DJR fans :(:(:( Now we can suffer together!!! It is going to make the victories DJR, Seto & jnr are close to getting that much better...

Ok, DJR had a very bad weekend, but the year as a whole as been ok-ish. Defintately better than prior years for both DJR & Seto. I do thing they are very close to being a front running team again... I think next year could be good... BUT, DJR need to keep both jnr & Seto for this to happen.. Drivers are not the problem, they are the best thing DJR have..

I remember reading an article a month or 2 back with Dick (can't remeber where, might have been V8X), that DJR where going to be trying new things in the last 3 rounds of this year, which should get results for next year.. Could it be possible they tried something new on the weekend that did not work???? I personally hope the spend the next 2 rounds testing heaps on things on both cars ready for next. So that means we might cop bad results for the rest of the year, but if next brings victories beacuse of it, then I'm all for it!!

I believe DJR don't quite have the set up sorted, the cars have enough power but they are a bit unbalanced affecting the lap times. I think the anti roll bars may be adjusted incorrectly by not much but enough to slow the lap times.

at the track the cars didnt seem any slower or faster than the front runners, it is a dissapointing result considering bathurst, but then again two different tracks.

i took a few pics of the cars if anyone's interested.

Good to see there is still some passion following this team. Average result, but Junior was right driving like an old mole, if you block around that place with blokes like Besnard, Morris and Bargwanna (to name just a few)anywhere behind you, you could end up with a very second hand car. I honestly think Juniour is one of the smartest drivers out there(as far as looking after the car goes) and as I've said in the past the only way he is going to get the doubters off his back is go to 888 and run with Lowndesy, or SBR and beat Ingall. Maybe we do need someone who will find the limit more often, but unfortunately, Mrs Lowndes SNR only produced one and Marcus is off to find himself in the U.S. I dont know what the line up will be but whoever it is this team needs to start getting some results. Did anyone else notice at the merchandise truck at Bathurst you could buy team stuff, Seton stuff but no 17 or Juniour stuff, oh and there was plenty of Canto stuff as well. But now after the GRM deal I cant imagine Dick letting Fester drive for a Holden team if he had a spot for him next year. Oh well I just booked my campsite and Grandstand seats for the Island, its just a shame my boys will have to listen to me explain why my team never wins, I could never jump ship but 2 of, my boys are all over 888 and SBR and the unlucky one has stuck with the old man but I need some results to keep him loyal.

Bought a nice James Moffat cap at Bathurst Donk. Along with a Seto cap & the rock pack with that strange looking "stress rock". Nice 25th aniversary Rock shirt looked good as well.

There seems to be something missing at DJR but it is hard to say what it is.

I think you are a bit harsh on Jnr bigcol but I understand the sentiment behind it.

I am so sick of looking forward to a good result only to be disappointed again and again, and it does wear you down after a while. However I am absolutely positive that everyone at DJR feels worse than what any of us could!

I will stick solid no matter what because like you, bigcol I am a DJR supporter first and foremost... That will never change!

On the subject of conspiracy, I am in total agreeance with you bigcol, I think it is a blatant attempt to manufacture a close finish to the championship with Holden involved, Ross and Jimmy must be pulling thier hair out!

It will be interesting to se what Marcos has to say next year when he no longer has to answer to the imbeciles running the show!

I don't know what to say anymore - I hope the team can pull something out of somewhere for Tassie. Seto is about to join the legend - Mr Johnson, as being the third driver to hit 200 starts and it would be a great weekend if they could pull off a podium as well.

They need to figure out what they did in Darwin and do it again.

Maybe they should try cheatng ;) - as they aren't in contention for the championship, officialdom won't be looking at them (but seriously folks....). Col I do believe you are right, they want a close finish and will penanlise anyone in order to get it.
