WTF

Does anybody know where Steven and Seto came today.

I can't recall seeing Steven and the only time i saw Seto was when he spun and nearly slid it into the wall where the Autobahn car stuffed it in

Thank you.

Come on Dick get Canto into the main game.

It's quite obvious Seto and Junior can't do the job required.

Gee i hate saying that.

Bloody frustrating IMO Col. It doesn't seem that long ago that DJR OWNED the streets of Surfers Paradise with Bowe dominating in the early years & Radisich doing a similar deal in his 1st few years at DJR.

WTF's happening with DJR ????? It almost seems that DJR are happy to be mid-fielders in 2005. We need a ballsy driver, even if he hangs it off the fence occassionally it doesn't matter in my book.
Time to move on Jnr & bring in some new talent to help DJR in it's quest to move back to the front of the field..

What did Canto finish in #34 yesterday in a car he's never driven before???? 20th & ahead of Seto...? in a car that is that old it's probably a converted VT-VX..

Come on Dick, you have that much young talent on your books in 2005, use some of it for 2006 before some other team white ants our driver line up.. Either that or jump back in yourself, you couldn't do much worse..

Put Canto in #17 for 2005..........

I don't think the drivers are the problem :(:(

Everyone keeps saying Canto this & Canto that, but he couldn't match either Seto or jnr at Bathurst!!!

If you compare Seto vs lonwdes from last year & jnr vs Seto from this year, jnr is doing a better job than Lowndes was pace wise against Seto.. And look what Lowndes is doing now in a better car!!!

I can't understand what has happened to DJR RACE pace... they are going backwards

Apart from CL, what a frustrating day for Ford.

How the **** can they give Ingall a drive through 4 short cutting the chicane not once but twice but when Snoz does it twice & doesn't get penalised at all. How the **** do they work that out????

AS for DJR, what a joke.. Didn't Jnr learn anything at all from Bowey on defensive driving?????

Well done Dean Canto. Just wish he could have passed #17 on those closing laps..

Can't believe I wrote that but it's true. Jnr was a mobile chicane today. Interesting to hear what his excuse will be this time. Brake fade, jammed throttle, overheating, clutch probs. You can bet it will be something. What a joke...........

Mate i think the problem is the Seton has always paid the bills at his own team and junior knows full well how expensive these things are to build and rebuild. So i think both are happy to keep it off the wall rather than having a red hot go.
That F#&^&ing Wollerman and Bond want f%$%$ing shooting.
Skaife straight lines a chicane and f$%&ing nothing happens. Yet Ingall gets a drive through. Later they do Ingall for driving across the yellow lines at the pit entry. FFS if he didn't you stupid arsehole Wollerman he would have run into the back of Ellery.
Any body that thinks their is a conspriscy happening is dead f$*&ing right.
Ambrose gets done for all the trivila SH!T no as soon as Ingall takes the championship lead he gets the same F^%ing treatment.

Tell them what you think

Rob_18:

I thought it was clever driving on SJ behalf, he knew Richo Jnr was quicker then him so he let him through, and in the end it was the right choice seeing what happened in front of him. SJ can drive, i think it is time we released the DJR cars at the moment are crap. SJ should move on though... wait an see what unfolds.

Welcome Bundy. Don't mind me, I'm just a bit pissed off that's all.

If everyone else thinks it's the cars fault, than some serious questions need to be asked about the staff at DJR then. How can 888, who have been in the sport for just 2 years, be so much faster than a team who is reputed to be the oldest in australian motorsport & who has one of the biggest budgets in pit lane??

We,ve seemed to have tried everything. Most people on here don't think that DJR have a HP defiency so apparently that's not their problem. We brought all these fancy technicians in from OS to work on the chassis & that hasn't worked. WE brought Seto in to help with set-up problems so what's going on???????I'm not dirty on Seto today as Seton has never gone well at Surfers in the past so his performance today wasn't a suprise but were just not moving forward. IMHO where further behind now this year than we were last year.

AS for Wollerman, what a f@#king idiot. Wonder what sort of car Avesco supplies him with??????????

You are right, as fans we were promised everything was going to be fixed with Seton coming on board this year. If you look at both 888 / SBR, they don't use the Beehag chassis they build there own inhouse...

I have a feeling SJ is on the move an we will see some young blood beside Seto next year. Although i wasn't impressed with either Will or Deans performance at Bathurst this year, they both made mistakes which cost the team a good result...

Geez what a loyal mob you lot are!

Why not read the press releases and see what actually happened to Glenn Seton.

After the race they took him out of the car, stripped him to his underwear and doused him with buckets of cold water! His cool suit was NOT working and he was SERIOUSLY dehydrated.

Lowndes even said on the telecast when speaking to Glenn that he nearly fainted in the car!!

Get rid of the drivers? You lot a sorry bunch of band-wagoners! I bet you can't even drive to work without the A/C on...give the guy a break.

As for Steven's excuse......well...?

Hooray for previous poster Stevo, this is supposed to be a supporters website for DJR, not a bagging site.
Come on guys and gals. 11th and 12th in championship in what we all think is a lean year. We are used to success and granted its been a while. I think it is the built up frustrations of previous years thats getting to us all now.

There are 22 cars/drivers that were slower than Steven J on the weekend, and 20 odd cars that are slower than both DJR cars throughout the championship.

Newhat.

I think criticism is appropriate when deserved, and I'm mainly referring to Glenn in this case. But the man was serverely ill as a result of the cool suit failure, there's no need to question driveing skills when they're lying on the ground in their underwear being hosed down to maintain a safe core temperature!!!

Give the guy a break is all I meant.

I don't know what the go with Junior was, but he recognised he had a slower car and opened the door and let others pass and avoided any possible accidents. He should be applauded for that, as oposed to doing a Dumbrell, or Wilson or one of those other jokers who fight tooth & nail and cause chaos.

Junior drove a mature race and knew when he was licked.

2 straight cars and Tassie to come. Fingers crossed.

Well sorry for voicing my opinions.
This is after all a forum where people do that.

Sorry if you don't like us saying how it is.
But my support for DJR will never waiver. It is DJR i support before Glenn Seton and Steven Johnson.
Sorry for wanting DJR back at the top where it once was.
If you guys are happy with mediocrity thats fine by me but it shouldn't be the goal of DJR.

The trouble is there si always an excuse. I am a loyal Seto girl and hey the cool suit failure is a problem (I would have liked to see that sight - Seto in his underwear all wet:D), but I have to agree with Col - DJR need to be back at the pointy end. If it isn't the engines and it isn't the horsepower, then what is it. I hope after the weekend we don't lose the young blood the dark side - I wil be toatlly f*&^%d off then.

Race 3 both boys were fine, so what was with the old woman driving. I know it was Sunday, but......

I was so pissed off - now Rusty is winning, it is his turn. This championship is a farce - Marcos was right earlier in the year when he said they wouldn't lose it, it would be taken from them. I actually turned off the tele and I haven't done that all year. I was disgusted at the penalties - f^%%$#n Skiafe can drive where he wants. I would like a piece of that payroll. I swear Diffey must be paid a commission every time he says Skaife's name.

I will be taking the voodoo doll and hexing that prick the whole way around Symmons Plains and poisoning his breakfast in Melbourne. I might try my best with Crompo and Diffey too. Bring back the journo's whi get it right. I couldn't believe they stuffed up the placings on the podium and tried to give the nose 2nd. This is turning into a joke and enough is enough.

Stevo if you actually read my post you would notice I didn't critise Seton AT ALL. IMO Seto has done a good job this year considering he is new to the team & you should have also noticed that I said Seton has never gone well at Surfers, which he hasn't, & I didn't expect anything special from him on the weekend, but I do expect him to do much better in the 2 remaining rounds especially P.I.

I'm sorry people, but myself, a long suffering DJR fan, have just about had enough of running mid-field with a team that has such a strong winning tradition especially when DJ was behind the wheel. We keep being promised of improved results but she's just not happening is it??

Sorry 4 being a passionate DJR supporter & Stevo, no I don't drive to work with the AC on!!!!!!!!!!
