Has any one else heard any info about the VZ being recalled? Ive heard from 3 different sources there are big problems with 75% being recalled. The only thing is each source has had a different reason, from new engine not working with previous models components to workers supposedly throwing there cans into the smelt which threw out the mix. Very interested to hear if anyone has any further info! Got to love that Holden quality!

If it is true that is typical of Holden.
Whenever they recall cars it always done as quiet as possible.
Where as Ford just come straight out with it.
Don't believe me just look at all those oil burning Gen 3's that Holden won't fix

Haven't seen anything in the papers. Am talking to a friend high up in RACQ this weekend. I will ask if he knows anything.

Spoke to my General Manager and the story is 90% have been recalled because the new engine does not go with the componenets of the previous model Commy. Thats why we havent seen the massive advertising campaign Holdens are renowned for. Id hate to be in one of the 10% that got through! Spoke to a mate who is a salesmanager at Holden and he confirmed! All I can say is HA HA HA
