Its always going to be stacked in favour of footballers and olympians - you just got to look at the sports that get the most TV coverage.

I dont get Cathy Freeman though - seems like a lovely person but when interviewed she's difficult to listen to.

I totally agree with many of you guys, there are some pretty silly choices there like the backyard BBQ, and others - not strictly Qld.

The same people obviously voted for Australia Zoo as well. When I hear 'Australia Zoo', i don't think of Queensland, but when I hear 'Big Pineapple' I do......the guy did some good things for wildlife conservation, but seriously, voting for him and his zoo as the top in those catagories is senseless.

Dick's more than likely out of the spotlight to much these days.

Wally is still a legend and you see his mug on the sports fairly regularly and Rafter well he's still on peoples minds because he gave it away not that long ago and is doing the Bonds ad's on TV

If it was done during the RaceCam era i'm sure Dick would win it. I knew people that didn't like car racing that much but would watch it for the DJ comedy act

Apart from my "big" day, I'm averaging between 15 and 25 per day, depending on how much time I've got.
Interestingly enough, not one of the icons I'm voting for (if it's not already in the top 3) has made an appearance in the top 3 but I will keep going.



I've just voted again and the results have been updated this morning.
For mine, it's officially rigged as there are no changes!
Typical government exercise - don't do anything involving the public unless you already know the outcome!!
