Moffat is coming to Qld 6th & 7th March 2010

Hi Everyone,

Not DJR related I know, but I thought that you might like to know that Allan Moffat is coming for a visit to Qld on the weekend of 6th & 7th March 2010.

On Saturday he is going to be at Pacific Ford on the Sunshine Coast and Bowdens are going to bring along the Moffat Phase 1, 2, 3 and the infamous Phase 4. Allan will be giving a talk on each car and then we will fire them up and hear them roar. Also, the Falcon GT Owners Club of Qld is putting on a display at the dealership that day. I am also hoping to convince the Gold Coast club members to join in too. Should be a good day!

Then on Sunday, Bowdens will be running the second Open Day for 2010 at their property. Allan Moffat is our guest driver and he will be giving a talk on all the cars in their collection, from his first Ford (Lotus Cortina) to his last Ford (XD Falcon) and everything that they own in between.

I will be there both days helping the Bowden family with their collection of awesome cars. If you would like to attend the Open Day, numbers are limited and we are almost full already, so don't leave it too long if you decide that you want to go. Hi Col,

Moffat coming has only been confirmed today and Dan was going to the meeting tonight to let everyone know. He spoke to Bob Taylor and Keith Clarris today and they are going to try and spread the word to the members.
