Hi Everyone,

John Bowe is going to be cruising around the great south east this week.

First stop is on Wednesday 28th July at Motorfocus diecast model shop in Cook St Oxley between 12 - 1pm. John will be there courtesy of his personal sponsor Biante and Motorfocus has been lucky enough to secure a small number of his 1:18th scale 1993 EB Falcon ATCC winner. DJR has also received their stock of this car today.

This coming Saturday 31st July John is back in SEQ doing the rounds with Rare Spares. He will be joined by Will Davison and Maurice Fabietti (Wild Bunch Monaro driver). They will be calling in at a few of the Autobarn stores that are Rare Spares stockists.

Just follow the link for places and times. I am heading out to the Ipswich Autobarn in the GT late Saturday arvo. My good friend Ron is the spare parts manager in this store and has asked a few of us to bring along some muscle cars to put on display.

Went out there today (and ran into XYGT) bought an EB and got John to sign it and some other stuff for me

I probably don't need to tell anyone this who has spoken to him before, but geez he is such an easy going and nice bloke to talk to.

Good to catch up with you Yap. We also bumped into 79Maq and his young fella. It was nice to see a group of about 30 people that were there to meet John and get an autograph and a photo with him. It kept things nice and personal. As each John met each person, he asked them their name and engaged in conversation with them as though they were a close friend.

Good on you JB, you are a true legend and a nice fella as well.

fingers crossed that the weather is fine on Saturday so that I can get the GT out of the shed and go for a burn to Ipswich.
