I,ve got mixed reports on it Doug. I'm reading the same book as you by the looks of it & in some time sheets it's reported as an A9X & a few pages over it was reported to be a L/34. For Rd 7, it was listed as an SLR which is older again.
The only pic I have of it is at Lakeside in 81 & from what I can observe, it looks like a 4 door which probably means it's an L/34 & not an A9X. Although there was a very limited run on A9X 4 doors, not many, if any were raced in the ATCC as the 2 door hatchback seemed to have benefits over the 4 door in race trim.
That's the best I can come up with Doug. Someone with more of a Holden back ground than me might be able to explain it better though..
