Was just outside work chatting with a couple of work mates and watching some brand new Merc's being unloaded from a transporter. We then noticed a SL600 (approx $450,000) coming off the truck, the young guy driving it noticed us watching and decided to "give it a bit" and promptly ran into a Magna coming out of a side street.

As I was getting my phone out to take a photo he decided to head off in a hurry with a fair bit of grinding noise and bits falling off the front end. He then returned a couple of minutes later with his boss to get some details from the other driver and statements from us.

Don't think he will see the day out at the local dealership somehow. [tsk]

I'm not sure which one's the bigger idiot. The young guy driving like a dickhead, or the person who spends that much money on a car.
I could think of a lot of better things to spend it on...

Usually it's a choice between driving an expensive company car or paying the Tax man,. . . that's a no brainer isn't it,. . . ..

Possibly not the mobile shag pile.
But what about writing off a corporate box at all the V8 rounds for your mates against your marketing/promotional expenses. That would work for me.
