I can confirm that DJR will be conducting 2 test days prior to the Clipsal 50O. The dates for these will be Feb 19 & 23 and they will be held at QR.

No drama's Poita. I'm just glad they are getting 2 days in before Clipsal. Hopefully they will dial in a good set up and be on the pace straight away, especially if their chassis have been 'tweaked' by Triple 8!!

17 sticked with both 17 and 18. Both Will and Steve will be driving.

It's been a huge job building the cars, they are very very different.

We couldn't have two ready because of parts not arriving on time - the situation at the end of last year didn't help as we weren't able to order things when we would have liked.

Went along today, spoke to Dick in regards to a couple of issues.

1. Triple8 are not doing DJR Chassis as reported in other forums, DJR are just purchasing some parts from them.

2. All fabricating is still being done inhouse by DJR.

3. Jim Beam sponsorship revolves heavily around merchandising, meaning DJR need to sell a lot to get the money they need to run the team.

I will have some pictures uploaded in the next 30mins.

Natsoft was running today which was nice.

1. S Johnson 11.84
2. C Lowndes 11.97
3. J Whincup 12.12
4. M Wilson 12.24

Not sure where the rest ended up - that was the top4.

Was a very good day, no major mechanical issues and made good progress with setup. Great effort by the guys, 110+ hours in the last 7 days to get it together.

Firstly, good job with the pics it's good to see the 888 car doesn't suffer mclaren-itis and start to look crap with reflections once the chrome is out of the studio environment..

Secondly thats pretty interesting news, we've heard about how the chassis came in for an extensive rebuild, so I'm wondering if this wasn't to 888 specs, where did the design come from? Unless of course the 888 involvement is being heavily downplayed.

However the times george has posted look good, and provide some encouragement. It would be even better if the order is somewhat similar come qualifying in adelaide of course!
