Absolute, complete and utter RUBBISH!!!!!!!!![rt]
Yep

Tell me how someone can get a drive through and then make up 35-40 seconds on the entire field. He's good but not that good.

Also how can Johnson be turned around and yet the bloke that punts him gets away with it????

Do we have to speed in pit lane for the DJR cars and "speed" to be mentioned in the same sentence?

The amount of spots on track made up by Whingecup in such a short time screams of something not being right. I've questioned it before, but from 25th to threatening for a podium in that many laps?

If an athete performed so dominantly they'd be drug tested....WTF?!

Whats with Cheeseburger pulling over for Whincup whilst blocking his teammate for a good number of laps? [sh]

I thought the vision was enough.[sh]

It was!!!. . . . . wtf!

I've been saying for a long time that, like super league, it's long overdue for the teams to walk away from this and start their own category. I think we are now past that even being a solution since the corruption seems so indemic insofar as who gets penalties and who does not.

That safety car was already waiting for an opportunity to bring the pack and moreso the leaders back the Whingchump, and the pittiful excuse of Moff knocking the masterswich off does not hold up to scrutiny.

Colusion? one car left on track to hold Davison back while Whingchump races round the circuit to catch him on hot tyres to his cold ones? yep I think so, I was surprised that Davison did not get a penalty, but then he did, left to waddle around on Hards with his lead stolen by a fake safety car intervention.[jk]

The Gizzidiot was not the only one to pull over to let Whingchump past, they all were, he was doing fastest lap after fastes lap , qualifying lap after qualifying lap, anyone else notice that whilst Lowndes has been battling while Whinge sprints away, but once he got that drive through, Lowndes suddenly found another half a second a lap? Lowndes was untouchable? wtf again?

Bring on the last race of the season, I'm over this one.

Lance armstrong anyone?

They know they have something, they just don't know how it works, but it's obviously something they can turn on and off, on long enough to get a lead then off to maintain it unless they need a break away for a safety car or something..

Just one other thing, while I'm on a rant,

The calibre of Whingchump was on full display with his comment about the rule imposed for only one rason, team member safety, to publicly call that a "wanker rule" shows that this bloke cares nothing for his team, for their safety, but only about winning and if they need to cheat to do it, i think this comment shows he's ok with that.

Holden has fans, T888 has fans, Lowndes has huge numbers of fans, Whingchump has no fans.

I'm with you TS.
they've got something up there sleeve and i reckon every time they say they're nearly out of fuel it's bullshit and it's nothing more than a smoke screen to make it look like they're in the same boat as everyone else.
Take the last few laps of Bathurst when Reynolds went full rich. Whincup was supposed to be on full lean. early in the day when everybody was full rich the FPR cars had the wood on everyone up mountain staright. Yet late in the day going up mountain straight Reynolds on full rich could not make an impression on Whinchump on full lean. Every time they say they have fuel problems they make it home without a problem.
First thing i'd be doing is checking exactly how much fuel a 888 car holds and i'd be measuring those camshaft lobs very closely

i'd be puting slow a motion camera right next to whincup on the grid and a heap of others at other corners.

29 laps on the softs without performance loss.

no v8 supercar can look after it's tyres that well.

FPR should put in a massive protest just before practise starts at Sydney.

If the find something it means he loses points at Winton and possibly excluded from sydney. if there was a breach and it was bad enough they'd gone for the season

888's dominance is destroying the sport. If the powers to be think that the cotf project is going to make any difference on the finishing order they are kidding themselves.
There needs to be some form of financial system put in place like the afl salay cap system so the wealthy cannot dominate so easily.

Unfortunatly this is no longer seen to be sport that be enjoyed by the privateer, the battler.
Big bucks rule and unfortunatly them with the most and best toys will always win.
Bring back the ARDC I say!
They were far from perfect but there where factory teams, competitive privateers and some downright battlers and it was a hell of a lot more interesting.
something needs to be done before the fans just say enough is enough and walk away.. [pk]

Maybe Adrian realises the series is on it's last legs and is trying to get some better racing happening by revving up the others.

The silly thing about it, is 888 can have all the cash they want. If there isn't a series what good is it to them.

All the aussie team owners should start something like the utes but in sedans and tell the Euros to bugger off

At a luncheon prior to Darwin round a few years ago, they had a Q and A with Dick. It was around the time there was talk of a "salary cap" and I asked his thoughts. Believe it or not he disagreed with the concept. I think it might have been the first year of JB money. How things have changed, I wonder how he feels now????

I think someone like Dick is always going to disagree with this, having to account to share owners who agree with the direction and management of your business is tough enough at times without having to provide some autocratic third party with manhours, receipts and values of any in kind parts or services would just be too intrusive.

The way they build their engines would then be under scrutiny and available to other teams for the purposes of salary cap and that could lead to trouble just by itself.

It's bad enough having to get youe accountant to justify expenditure and profit and loss adjustments to the tax man [rt]

I remember when the Toyota rally team got caught with irregular turbo restrictors, I wonder if 888 will ever get caught out in a similar manner. They HAVE to be doing something illegal as I don't believe that they are that much better than everybody else in such a tightly controlled category. It would be interesting to see what exactly it is.
