These cars are looking bloody good, there is no doubt about that. I think that gives the whole team confidence and allows them to concentrate on things that increase their chances of success rather than stuff that is just sidetracks.
I was with DJR-FAN and the clan last year in the Pitlane Club at Bathurst. We had a visit from Charlie and some photos in the garage (are they on here somewhere Poita....might put a couple up for the guys to see again), brilliant views, brilliant company......just the best 4 day blokes trip away you could ask for.....so......when DJR-FAN releases the details in the next few days, consider it seriously guys. Its something you have to do at least once.....!!!!! [y][drive][sc]
Hope to see as many there as possible....I won't miss it.

I was in the Chase Club last year, on top of the new hotel. Great views, great beer and easy access to the track. I am going to be going to Bathurst with amate who is a Holden nut......................what can i say, its a long drive on your own.
Anyway, if DJR win, i might be able to convert him!

To be honest, I'd pretty much lost interest in the cars way way before PB died. I reckon DJR-FAN asked me to go to Oran Park and Eastern Creek maybe 20 times in the last 20 years or so. I'd had liked to go, but I always had other things on...other priorites, then when he said, "come on, lets go to Bathurst for the four days". I thought it was fair enough given I'd turned him down so many times.......so, for the reasons stated in the post Poita put the link to, and just because the V8 experience at Bathurst was AWESOME, I'm bitten. Love it!!
Enjoy the Chase mate......when we get a bit closer to the weekend, we'll try and organise a way to get together for a few [sc].

I will be there for sure, This will be my 8th year Camping even though I live at Bathurst through the year! Its just great atmosphere and you meet some great friends.
I would rather camp than head to the pub every night as there is always someone up for a chat even if it is a Wednesday night and there straight out of the car from Melbourne and they crack a tinny with you.
Will Try to catch up with you's throughout the week, If anyone want to come over to the camp look for the Jim Beam and Ford Flags when your on the bus heading up the top, Just look to your right.
