Steve qualified 4th - amazing effort with Seto in 20th - bring on the top ten - DJR is on fire at OP.

Holy ****e...I cannot believe this! They miss the 10 on their home test circuit, and put it in the 10 at OP where they consistantly dead-set struggle. Hard to comprehend, but trust me, I aint complaining. My tip is for Jr to qualify 3rd after the shootout. You have heard it here first folks!!!!! Well done boys. It's been a long time coming. Seto...? Well I am again astonished...languishing in 20th. WTF?

Dear Mr Seton

Do us Seto fan's a f*cken favour & have a b00ldy go or just stop driving.. I'm sick to death of getting all excited before each round & being so disappointed after it. I'll contunie to support you until you stop racing, but my god it gets more fustrating as every year goes on!!.. IF JNR IS 4th THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO BE 20th!!

Regards

Seto went 3 tenths slower in qualifing compared to practice (2nd round in a row slower in qualifing, then pactice).. His practice time was good enough for the top ten.... Struth, if the new tyres are giving you such greaf Seto stay on the old ones, you go quicker on them... Or maybe, just maybe, do 3-4 laps in practice on the green ones to "un-green" then & you might go quicker qualifing...

Shame jnr went back to 9th in shot out :(

So much promise for such poor results after qualifying and the shootout.

Both cars were going well in practise but the wheels fell off Glens and driver error stuffed Steve's shootout

Here's hoping Seto stays out of trouble and makes his way through the pack and hopefully Junior will get a podium

Joe, funny you say that, but towards the end of the qualifying session, that's exactly what Glenn was doing. He ran five consecutive flying laps at the end. Will provide a detailed report after Oran Park. And Glenn was VERY lucky to be in the top 50% anyway. Steve appears to have the faster car this weekend.

Hear Hear. God knows i love the man, but it is hard work being a Seton fan. Like you Joe, I too will support him until he gets out of a car for good, but damn he is much better than that. C'mon Seto - pleeeeeaaaase.

Can somebody please explain to me how Steven Richards can be allowed to complete almost an entire heat at Barbagallo Raceway with smoke absolutely billowing from underneath his car (as occurred earlier this year), yet Junior cops a Mechanical Black Flag at OP for a similar offence even though the oil leak would manifest itself on only some parts of the track, and when it did the smoke was not that severe?

I also recall heat 2 of the 1995 ATCC round at Bathurst when Larry cracked his sump on the ripple strip on the first corner and raced the entire heat with a plume of Castrol coming from the back of his Commodore!!! Are officials scared of LP or do they not like the smell of burning Shell Helix?

All I ask for is consistancy with such rulings and not double standards!!!

It was, but it seems that the stewards are handing out penalties on the basis of what "entertainment factor" results from the shuffling...
