Thanks for that Poita. The XY spent alot of time at Qld Raceway that week. I also went to the Shannons "Days of Thunder" on the following Saturday & Sunday. My XY scored a trophy for best "GT Falcon" at the Show and Shine on the Sunday. I think that I might have upset a couple of owners of genuine GT's!!

It was a quiet day, not many fans and only a few teams DJR, SBR, and Glenfords, SBR had their fujitsu car running and Arron Caratti was running fast laps in the Porsche.
DJR had their enduro partners running and Steve looked quick as did Will running in 18, sorry I have no times, and Steve owen and Luff were in 17,

I was only there a couple of hours but it was dry and warm and the track looked good after powercruze (I think) on the weekend but it was dirty, especially pit lane with hot tyres picking up all kinds of rubbish.

Thats all I got for now, I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.

FAAARK!! Just saw your pics - The Kaditcha was there ehhh? Who was doing the laps? Was it Paul or Bap?
That was some car in its time - virtually won everything it raced in.

Got a bit of news.

Found out that there no difference between Car 17 and 18.
Luffy impressed them the most and was also the most consistent driver at Phillip Island. Although he wasn't the fastest driver out of the four he recorded more faster lap times in the top 15 than the other three drivers.
Car 18 is the only car running the new camshaft and D3 heads for Bathurst as well.
It was a mix up that nearly led to the court case regarding the new parts. DJR were told they needed to include the camshaft on the paper work submitted to VESA informing them they were upgrading their engines after earlier being told that they didn't need to as you can't run the new heads without the new camshaft.
Car 18 has made more improvements and should be even quicker for Bathurst.
And a few other things that I won't go into here.

Not sure which Ramano it was but the car sounded a little sick all day. Never did more than three laps at a time before having to come back to the pits to sort something out.
