Just had a thought, that this time in 2 weeks, I will be sitting in the stands at Clipsal, most likely feeling a bit manky after 3 days on track, waiting for the drivers parade and the final leg of the first round.

Hopefully I'll be feeling fairly buoyant, with Leg 1 going to the blue team, and all the signs looking good for a resurgance of DJR in 2008!

It will be great to finally see the cars on track, and let the cars do the talking. I know the teams complain about the off season getting shorter and shorter, but the fans want to see racing, and more of it.

Bring it on I say:D:D

I thought you would have added somewhere in there "and leading the tipping comp as well" [8D]

I'm looking forward to the season starting proper, only problem is I have to go to Melbourne on the 19 to 23 so it looks like I'll be missing the first race of the year.

I'm feeling your pain Poita. I will be overseas from the 18th Feb till 1st March which means I miss all of Clipsal. Very disappointed, but I will keep myself updated via the net!

That goes without saying ;), although, probably won't be that concerned, as will still be over the moon about skaife eating the concrete at turn 8, again......

will be interesting to see how old gonzo goes this year, actually.. He'll be number 2 for the first time in a long time..

My gut tells me he might have a big year..

UMM , this might be off topic, but a bit humorous all the same - as the series seems to be scratching for numbers, any chance of bringing back David Thexton - Mitche, he was one of your faves yes?? (not) lol

If the series looses too many more entrants that are really there to compete ( not just there because they have to be, re licence conditions, it is in danger of becoming a farce.
