They varied quite a bit over the years, the early ones were U-G-L-Y! Then the early 80's models didn't look too bad and then they turned ugly again!
There is one running around in 2lt improved production in NSW and it is pretty competitive, but I am not sure what has been done to it.

I think the styling may be satisfactory but because they're so boxy the Volvo 240, 440, 740, 940 looks ugly. Inside it's no lexus levels of fit and finsh, the dash should be ergonomic but even it "feels" ugly.
Proton WAJA? Ugly all around!
I've been to Chinese city a few years back and most people drive ugly looking cars. Not only that but they use cheap fuel, the cars are old, the traffic is congested so even the air looks ugly (and I'm not going to put a smilie face on this one too!)[V]

Are you saying the PM's car ugly?
Particularly if the PM is in it . I don't want to start a political debate but ever since Jonny Howdy Doody's Brother failed as a company director , failed as a businessman , failed to pay his employee's super , failed to pay his workers entitlements and failed to keep the company solvent and those workers in a job.Jonny Howzat has had it in for the workers, the government put the bill since it was for his brother and little Jonny vowed to save Company owners from the burden of ever having to contemplate downsizing the mansion to pay the entitlements the ordinarly workers got , ( for a pay rise , indexed to the CPI, during the depression we had to have,). Unfortunately I believe Jonny , the chimp,is without a doubt the most Gutless and weak PM this country has ever had, Unfortunately it doesn't matter who you vote for you end up with annother stinkin' politician.
