Coulthards car looked positively evil in practice 3 in sydney. Probably woulda been more at home at a rodeo with a rider on the roof

I made the right call this weekend - didn't watch a lap.
Drove up to Bundy yesterday, stopped at Biggenden to have a look at the car show, picked up another ride on mower and spent today pulling the ride on apart to build a small dozer!
Much more fun than watching Eastern Creek.

I wouldn't know what to do if we won a race, its been soooooo long.
I mean, for the past 12 - 15 years, we always seem the be "under funded" or "going through a learning curve" or " a rebuilding phase"or "need to improve our team strategy". Well were cashed up, sponsorship sorted, couple of top drivers, and were pretty much tracking where we were when Junior was back in his heyday, and remember how much flack he wrongly copped back then, He must be having a quiet chuckle at his knockers.
Blow me down, if we ever won Bathurst, the emergency wards will be full of DJR fans from around the country.

I agree though, . Steve got a lot of bagging for finishing just into the top ten almost every year but not being at the pointy end, and we all know the list of things that worked against him personally getting a win, . . oh well there is always next year with the new driver alongside of Coulthard to press for top of the tree, but then again with the changes to the category we might be seeing the next excuse already emerging. . .
