I thought we had him for another year after this, I am obviously wrong. We neeed his signature now before the red hordes and SBR swoop. I am sure this is a huge priority with the powers that be. Can you blokes in the know keep us plebs up to date with progress.[hb]

Will's contract is definitely up at the end of this year. I really hope he stays at DJR, if I hear anything official I'll let you know. Next season is already shaping up as a big year for driver movement.

Spoke with Gary Nash from Media Communication Services this afternoon and something I didn't know was they manage Will as well as do the Media relations for DJR. He said that Will is very happy at DJR and it's obviously too early in the year to even discuss what is happening next year.
I get the feeling something drastic would have to happen between now and the end of the year for Will to leave DJR. I doubt he would go to SBR as some people are trying to suggest with Courtney leaving them.

A couple of years ago almost any driver would have jumped at the opportunity to drive for SBR but at the moment DJR is looking at least as competitive as them or anyone else.

Spoke to Will at Eastern Creek on Friday (before his victory)and he spoke about looking forward to next year with djr!!

Will's definately a talent we want to keep, but if he goes to another team, . . .maybe we'll have to send the boys around.
