Questions after Bathurst.

I have some questions.

1 : What happened to the "New Sponsor" announcement that was rumored to occur around Bathurst.

2 : What was I looking out for on Channel 7 regarding DJR on Friday or Saturday ?...

3 : When will there be an announcement made on 09 Drivers and rumored new sponsors.

4 : Why did DJR have so many Tyre failures at Bathurst when 888 had only one on Thursday.

All announcements have been put on hold now until 2009, according to Charlie.

It was car #18 doing the hot lap and commentary with Steve and Tom Williams, I was expecting something bigger as well.

There were more locations than the two noted by Channel 7 causing the problems, a few teams were going to inspect the track on Monday.

according to a few people at Bathurst, expect a few bomb shells to be dropped between now and New Years day 09.

Charlie confirmed that Jim Beam are locked in until the end of 2010 and also have a three year option after that.

Watching it on TV, 888 seemed to have a delaminated tyre on almost every change, not as bad as DJR or Gary Rogers who seemed to have the most, but inside laft rear edges seemed to be copping it from a couple of places on the mountain this year.

I'd reckon they will find out where the boys are kerb hopping and dragging the arse back accross the ripple strips somewhere will be at fault and it will need a real close examination to find it and tey will probably have it fixed for next year.

What was the new sticker (sponsor ?) that appeared on the panel behind the rear wheel on race day? It wasn't there any other day, but appeared on Sunday before the race ? I have just noticed it in some photos.
