Daytona finally got underway this morning and is still going, massive crash with 40 laps to go with Montoya taking out the Jet dryer truck.

Montoya was leaving the pits under yellow and suffered a mechanical fault with the rear end of the car, he lost control and slammed into the back of the truck causing a huge fireball, the truck was carrying 200 gallons of jet fuel.

Race has been red flagged for a few hours now and is just about to restart, it's just gone past midnight at Daytona.

Ambrose who was having a good day had it turn to shyte, then fought back and somehow ended up 13th at the end. It was a green, white checker finish which Kenseth won from Junior and Biffle..

I tracked this all day at work today, Ambrose was on fire, ran in the top 4 for the top half of the race then was involved in an incident after the restart which put him a lap down, he recovered to finish 13th and set the fastest lap of the race.. if only..

There is an X factor that NASCAR has which drawers you in which unfortunately our V8's dont have, in my opinion..

Would love to get to the states one day to see a race live.

Every time he's up there it seems as though there's a bad pit call which stuffs him up!
Happened again this morning!
He ended up bringing it home 9th after running in the top 2 spots for a long while.

Could not believe those last couple of laps!
I was resigned to Ambrose finishing 3rd after Keselowski got past him - obviously at the time I didn't know there was oil on the track which caused the first position change.
Bloody brilliant last lap!
