I have been keeping a keen eye on ABC2 on Foxtel and have managed to tape some classic races from the early 70's.
I got most of the '78 Sandown 400 some early 70's Tasman series races and some great Improved production cars at Warick Farm. Including Big Pete in the Mustang and Super Falcon, Moffat in the Mustang and Jane in the Camaro.

I strongly suggest any of you that have access to ABC2 keep your eyes and ears open for when they will be on. I thought all the footage of those cars was lost, I got a pleasant surprise!

Jason i have ABC2 via digidat broadcast with settop box, i mite be the same what`s the program called? and do you have times that the show is on?

"Late Night Legends" is the name of the show and it is hosted by Lex "BLOODY WOG" Marinos.It is on every night late i.e. after 10pm. For exact times you will have to check your guide.Also the cars racing isn't every night sometimes its VFL or Rugby Union. If they aren't released soon I may make copies on DVD when I buy my new capture card. I will see what happens.

I taped another one. Warwick Farm 1973. improved production cars and sports sedan combined. It's awesome, Big Pete and Marvin going at it in th rain with Frank Gardner in his Camaro in third. A young bloke from Queensland in a Torana also makes an appearance!

Was talking to Chris Bowden at the motor show and they had the Warwick Farm race playing on the Plasma. So i stayed and watched.
Those guys were flying on that wet track

There is no need for me to convert onto DVD now, it's been done for us! The DVD highligts package is now available and was put together by Mark "flat as a biscuit" Oastler.
