Lakeside - 50th Anniversary

The following events are scheduled for Lakeside this year:

  • May 27-29 ~ Festival of Formula Cars
  • July 22-24 ~ Festival of Sports Cars and
  • Aug 12-14 ~ 50 Yrs of Touring Cars (Incl. Shannon's Nationals)

There is FORD GT day out there this SUNDAY &
FORD GT day at Mt.Gravatt show grounds this SATURDAY

That is correct Maq. Anyone who is a Ford supporter should get to Lakeside on Easter Sunday. We are taking 5 GT or GTHO Falcons from the Bowdens stable to the circuit. I will be driving the 1970 XW GTHO Phase 2 Moffat Bathurst winner to and from the track. We have 7 drivers from the GTHO era that will be driving the cars around Lakeside this weekend.

Also, the Phase 4 will be there too. This event may never be repeated again.
