on the v8 website they have listed the team as dick johnson racing instead of jim beam racing like wer were last year?

I agree - should be DJR!
But this is just for the Abu Dhabi round. JDR is listed as Kelly Racing, Bundaberg Racing as Huzzah Racing...

I don't quite get the alco ban with advertising over there. I was told by someone who travelled to Dubai last month saying that there is no difficulty in getting a drink there, but you do pay big for it. They do come down very hard if people drink to excess and become public nuisance.

Yeah, My son was over there for quite a while, booze is available and easy to get for non muslims, and dirt cheap.

The law states that it is ok to buy it, it is ok to drink it , but there is NO public drinking.

So the majority of people buy and consume at home , simple.

Young bloke was over there for his job, and he reckoned that Vodka was cheeper than the white spirit they use in bulk, . . . .[sc]
