With Mr Muller leaving 888 in the U.K. to be one of 3 Mullers in the WTCC.
Who will be his Co-Driver for 2006

I think that will be Seton's best chance at winning Bathurst! I don't care if he doesn't get a drive if he can win with Craig!

I am sure that if you ask him would he rather sit out the regular season in order to win Bathurst he wouldn't have to think toolong about it!

I did ask Glenn in Phillip Island and he said that he would prefer a drive all year in order to keep his skills up, but if he had no other option then he would settle for enduro drives. I think he wanted one more year at least to beat Brocky's number of starts too.:D

SF, he did say though, that he would still be involved in motor sport in some way and his aim would be to have his own development series team and bring new blood through the ranks. He doesn't want to get back into the main game ownership - too tough nowadays (15 years of that was enough for him), although I didn't ask him about half ownership as is the possibility if he were lucky to go to LMS (my personal preference over Britec). He did rule out Holden - very quickly and definitively I might add.;)

Can I please remind people before we all write him off, that Glenn is only 40 and is a 2 time winner of the crown. Rusty has just won his first championship and he is 41, about to be 42. There are still guys older than Glenn, he has just been around so long that everyone forgets he is still so young. He still has a lot to offer and given a half decent car, which he hasn't had in quite a while, he could still show these young kiddies out there what it is all about.

By that post, I'll wager it's a full-time deal with Britek, and that's a good thing. I read the interview with Chris Jewell in MN, and I have to say, he appears to genuinely want Glenn, as opposed to using him.

On an unrelated topic, does anyone think that Glenn might inherit his father's business after he retires. It's known that Glenn has worked there in his spare time, and it might be a possibility in the medium-term future.

The only way Glenn will go to britek is if britek are allowed to do testing this year. no testing no drive with britek

Well he is the 2nd oldest driver in V8s at 40. I thought when he was at FPR he was driving a half decent car (came 2nd at bathurst) but was in the shadow of Craig Lowndes. Craig obiviously got more talent than Glenn Seton.

I , personally do think that the big accident Glenn had at Phillip Island has keep him a poofteenth from the edge since then.Does that make him a worse driver , No. I think people like Greg Murphy and Rick Kelly are Loose cannons , and endanger a lot of other drivers with thier occaiasonal rushes of blood to the head ,driving . You can have a control series to keep costs down in this sport and maybe thats a good thing for the lesser funded teams , but a couple of accidents like Gregs caused at Bathurst or Ricks , and the whole equasion comes undone.

Does anyone have any idea of the total cost of Gregs little "love tap " on Marcos' left rear at Bathurst ??

Don't forget to add all the other cars damaged aswell. The LMS car was also quite substantially damaged, as was car 9. Add Morris to the list of loose cannans as well.

yeah thats what i mean ; The total cost of damage to all the cars involved .

and again ; yep ; add Paul morris to the list of loose cannons.

See someone like Glenn would never be involved in the kind of retalitory ,malishous and calous disreguard of safe driving we saw from Greg that day
