When i saw the DJR cars during Qualifing i noticed they are missing the CabCharge signage off the front spoiler. Is this just for NZ or has the team lost there support?

Saw that at first glimpse. Really stood out immediatly that it wasn't there. I wondered if it was a spare front splitter, but then was sure that all spares would be prepped the same and surely you wouln't leave a sponsor sticker off.
Keen to know what you find out on this Fordlover as Cabcharge have been on the cars forever.

I reckon Cabcharge are gone. Since they commenced as a sponsor of DJR in 1999, Cabcharge have always been on the car be it NZ, Shanghai or Bahrain. Why would they suddenly be gone this year, and if it WAS just for the NZ round, why has the prominent signage position on the car been left blank?
Hey guy's, I noticed some pics floating around somewhere the other day when the djr cars were being prepared to be loaded onto the plane for NZ & there was a Cabcharge logo on the front fender just below the Shell V Power signage. I haven't noticed it there before in 07 anyways..
IIRC, Cabcharge first joined DJR in 99 in DJ's last year. Now a few of us older supporters will remember this, but in 99 both Shell AU's started the year with having the drivers names on the windscreen & IIRC, rd 3 in 99 is when Cabcharge first appeared on the screens of the DJR Fords. Rd 3 in 2007 & most of the signage is gone so I presume this is when the contract ran out.
May be a coincidence but.........

Cabcharge seem gone from the DJR website list of sponsors.
Southside Ford Brisbane are now on board as a sponsor.
At Southside , if you buy a new or used car from them, you go into the draw to win a hot lap in a DJR V8 Suprcar too!! You can catch Dick doing the ad on 4BC (4BC, another old supporter from the XC days too).

What a competitive top 10 in NZ, it seemed like everyone was right on the pace and driving hard - good to see Will pushing forward to get up to 6th in race 3 in such a strong field. It was tough going for Steve, caught up in the mid-field bumper cars ...as you can imagine we were left with a few bent bonnets by Sunday arvo!
Anyway, just a quick note to confirm that Cabcharge is definitely still with the team. We have changed our sponsorship deal with them, and they are now on the side of the car under the V Power Racing logo (front quarter panel).
Talk soon.
