For those who don't have any of the books on DJR history, this week's Auto Action has a nice 'birthday' feature. Plenty of pages and pictures, as well as an interview with God.

Hopefully the start of a championship or Bathurst winning history.
Doesn't matter another round win to the oldest team in pitlane always sounds good

Can't wait for the next issue of AA. Thats been a good read

Part II came out yesterday.

The intro describes a Teammates meeting, with someone with a tattoo for (in their words) his son "Darren James Ryan".

Gee, who could that be? [sh]

And I see a bit of a nod towards, if not Club17, then the died-in-the-wool fans:

"I get a lot of respect and I think that's because of the way we've treated our fans over the years. I'm constantly reminded of the amount of respect that we as a team have out in the market place and what value there really is in the name, and that's very important to me. That's the reason I'll do anything to make sure the team keeps going."

Amen
