Last year, I reckon that Both Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup lost the chance to become Champion at the round in Bahrain where they were unceremoniously taken out of the race by another driver, in a crazy move that was never going to happen and by a notorious back runner.

So has this years campaign been done the same way?

Yeah, I reckon it has, I think that the TWR cars have the edge just and if they all qualify together can hold the lead in the Championship between them for the rest of the season with ease as they did at the end of last season and the one before.

Is this a planned move?

I'd have to say that I reckon TWR seems capable of anything to win, it even seems to me that Big Tom would be capable of putting a "bounty "on the head of rival contenders (anyone doing any checking to see if Todd or Larry or JDR have suddenly got richer or some new go fast bits or data or whatever since the weekend?)

I know it's all conspiricy theories, but man , is it possible for this same scenario to be repeated year after year?

So what are your thoughts, am i just going crazy with the lack of on track action, or is there some reality in this rant?

I cant see Larry or Todd stooping that low.

To be honest I reckon Todd made a fair dinkum mistake, but would have been much wiser to simply own up to it than to try and portion blame onto another competitor who was quite obviously an innocent victim

Possible I suppose.Holden have allways been cheaters,Didn`t the Fords have to fill the fuel tanks through an "S" peice on side of rear quater panell, while the Holdens went in a straight line through the boot, and didn`t they whinge like stuffed pigs to chop 200mm off the front under tray, and that was when bowe was upside down in car,and wasn`t that Larry having a good look at the underneath of the Falcon while some one could have been ingured.Yeah![sts] Cheaters, [sts]Cheaters, [sts]Cheaters

The series is so tight these days, that it will be very hard for Jamie to get back in the lead on points. The best that he can hope for is that he is very consistent at every round for the rest of the year and maybe each person in fornt of him has at least one bad round. I can't see that happening with Tander at the moment, he is at the top of his game and will be hard to beat.

Good old Bathurst usually sorts out the leader board though......... One stuff up there and lots of points fly out the window. Lowndes and Whincup will be hard to beat again this year. Hopefully a DJR car will be on the top step of the podium this year!!

Cheers

Does anybody think that V8 Supercars - "The Franchise", has turned into Sports Entertainment, almost in the way of wrestling in the USA?
