In the late 70's, Ford stalwart Murray Carter entered a 2nd Falcon coupe in selected rounds of the ATCC.

Who drove the 2nd Coupe [?][?]
Which team did Carter buy the Falcon from [?][?]
What year did Carter run the 2 Fords [?][?]

Rod Stevens IIRC... used to run an Escort in similar colours I believe... have no idea on the history of the car... will grab the bible and check in later...

.... solved the puzzle... will wait a while now and see if we get other takers...

Yeah righto, it was an ex-John Goss Falcon, entered in the 1979 ATCC... it didn't do any better for Rod Stevens than it did for Gossy either.... quite a number of engine dramas... I noticed that Will Bill Evans drove the Brian Wood Escort (Rod Stevens' usula mount) on a number of occasions that year too.

Yep, with the big R O D across the top of the windscreen.

Also noteworthy Henry is that Stevens actually finished on equal points to old Muzza but in 79, that was nothing to brag about as it was one of Carters worse ever overall finishes in the ATCC..

Yeah, not a good year for the Blue Oval at all, that one... shame, as they were (and remain) a gorgeous car.
