I spoke to Jim Richards at the all Ford day in Melbourne. He said Steven has locked in a drive for the enduros and that he is also competing in the Carerra cup this year as well as a few selected runs in the Falcon Sprint.
Jim said its difficult to secure a full time drive for some of the guys of Stevens era as there ars a lot of young guys that have serious financial support from family or corporates, where as the established drivers are trying to make a living from it, not chip in.

Motorsport E news said that Richo will be with FPR. Weather he teams up with frosty or Wll, he and his co driver will be a real force come Bathurst and Phillip Island.
I would like to see him drive with Frosty, over the past few seasons there have been issues with Richos FPR car that have masked his true speed. Fpr have not always been able to provide him with a reliable car, they had ongoing brake dramas that went on for ages before they sorted the problem.

Coupled with Frosty you would have to put a few dollars on them come Bathurst.

Rogers is an honest toiler, but he can be a tosser sometimes:

Rogers said he rates Besnard’s ability and would like to see him back.
“He’s fast. He is a very, very good driver,” Rogers said.
“But if we don’t have him, we’ll get someone better." [jk]

Looks like Denyer and Besnard are the enduro drivers for DJR this year, just spoke to Darren who is out at the Test Day and he confirmed that both drivers are taking part in todays test.

So what are our feelings of the possibility of Bezzy driving for DJR in the enduros? I have always found him a bit wild, but he did show consistent pace at Bathurst last year...? [sh]

What other options are out there?

I seen a fair bit of Bezzy at Lakeside with Stone Brothers Konica Car. A memorible moment was a great race between himself & Wayne Wakefield where both were rubbing doors and bumpers through the kink for a couple of laps untill told to back it off!

He Obviously didn't get the recognition from GRM after Bathurst last year that he deserved and has spat it!

GRM Loss & The best co driver Sj has had for a while. [y]

I don't mind the combo of Junior and Bessy.
It's very strong and they are both good consistent steerers.
Someone may have to get in Bessy's ear late in the race to make sure he stays calm but that's about it.
Off the top of my head there's only one other strong combination with the old kid and big nose, providing they can get off the start line.

DJR could lock its endurance drivers in within a week

Dick Johnson Racing could lock its endurance drivers in within a week as it narrows down its potential candidates for the 2011 two-driver races at Phillip Island and Bathurst.

Grant has been a bit of a poster boy for crimsafe, so it's no wonder he was at the test day getting some k's in I wouldn't mind seein ghim in a car with moff, he's got a fair but of speed and has good car control, they might be a good chance for outsiders
