I guess I should have looked at the P3 times more closely BEFORE I celebrated P4 ? [sa]

It was massively wet! P3 was aborted towards the end by most teams when Premat left oil everywhere. I think the oil was still a bit of an issue in P4. According to DJR Live feed on fb Stevie J was the only one running a dry set up.

Don't know what happened with Fiore or Johnson as they didn't get any coverage, they lost out with the Tander spin on the first lap but after that....[sh]

It was pretty hard to watch our 4 car team in a line biffing and bashing each other resulting in two dnf's . . .. appalling actually.


I hope there are some stern words being spoken tonight about teamwork, FFS [rt]

RJ's Barbagallo Report Saturday.

Well what an unbelievable day for The Team!!!! The boys set out for Qualifying in changing conditions for race 7, full of confidence and didn't disappoint! All cars qualified in the top 20 within 1 second of Garth Tander's pole winning time! The Teams performance even managed to get James Courtney a top ten berth! Stevie J just missed a top ten and a possible penalty from The Team by qualifying 11th, just ahead of Steveo with The Fonz and The Moff 19th and 20th respectively.

Race 7 saw a dry track for the first time this weekend and once again The Team didn't disappoint. The Team decided for a split strategy today with The Fonz and Stevie J opting to circulate and wave to the fans and other drivers as they went by whilst a bit of genius from Team strategist Paul Morris got some valuable television exposure for team sponsors. The Dude had The Fonz shove The Moff off the track at turn 6 and into the Barbagallo sand, causing a safety car and plenty of television coverage for Norton whilst Herbie was being extracted by a Waverley Forklift. Likewise Steveo got valuable airtime for VIP petfoods when The Dude ordered him to use the Acme oil slick feature to create a massive smokescreen and oil slick on the racing line for more than half the track. When asked to comment Paul Morris said " Get ****ed maggot!". The Team manager couldn't be found to get a comment because, to quote a team member "well noone really knows who it is right now". Team owner Dick Johnson did manage this text message however. "Al gud m8 grt efit frm team 2day v :) lkg 4wud 2 2moz thx cht l8er".

The Team will be back on track Sunday morning for 2 qualifying sessions where they will run a dry setup if it is wet and a wet setup if it's dry to cover all bases for the races later in the afternoon where they will more than likely adopt the "lap down" strategy utilised to good effect in Tasmania. One thing you can count on is that the cars will LOOK FANTASTIC!!!!!!
