Jim Beam Racing will play host to seventh generation Beam Distiller, and Jim Beam’s great grandson, Fred Noe, this Wednesday night.
Noe will conduct a Bourbon appreciation evening at The Team's Stapylton headquarters as part of his Australian tour to celebrate the re-launch of Jim Beam Black.
Jim Beam Racing Sponsors, Jim Beam trade partners, DJR Team Mates and media will be among the guests guided by Noe in a taste testing of the brand's premium bourbon.
Noe will also visit Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to educate Australians on the brand’s premium strength, quality and flavour through a range of product tastings and events.
Team owner Dick Johnson said The Team felt honoured to be included in Noe's tour.
"Fred is Jim Beam royalty and his visit is a real privilege," said Johnson.
"Jim Beam has such a proud family history which - as a family race team - we really relate to.
"And Fred is top of the tree when it it comes to bourbon knowledge so it's going to be a very special evening."
For Noe, the visit is an opportunity to share his expertise with the brands downunder fans.
“Jim Beam Black was rated the number one North American Whiskey by the Beverage Tasting Institute which goes to show what a great product it really is, and I’m sure Australians will think so too,” said Noe.
Jim Beam Brand Director Ray Noble said that Noe's visit was sure to excite the palates of Aussie bourbon
enthusiasts.
“We’re really excited we have this opportunity to introduce Fred Noe to the premium bourbon drinkers of Australia," said Noble.
"he has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to producing quality bourbon and is the perfect spokesperson for Jim Beam Black at this exciting time."
